Visiting this website
Visiting a website sends technical connection data, such as your IP address, the requested address and browser information, to the infrastructure delivering the page. This processing is needed to provide the website and support its secure operation. The legal basis for these purposes is our legitimate interest in maintaining an available and secure website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Language preferences
On the main entry address, the initial language may be selected using a country code supplied by the hosting infrastructure. If this is unavailable, we use your browser's language preference. A German or English page address opened directly takes priority. When you select DE or EN, the functional session cookie “bouti-language” remembers that choice for the browser session. It contains only your chosen language and is not used for advertising. You can switch languages at any time or delete the cookie in your browser.
Email enquiries
If you email us, we process your email address, your message and any information you choose to provide so that we can respond. Where your enquiry concerns a contract with you or steps you ask us to take before entering a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other business enquiries are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Providing information is voluntary, but we may be unable to answer without sufficient contact details and information about your enquiry. Selecting an email link opens your email application; the website does not send a message for you.
Project enquiry form
When you complete the project form, your entries initially remain in the current browser page’s memory. Only after you review them and select “Send project enquiry” are your name, email address, company, business model, selected services, project description and any optional website, timeframe or budget details sent to our website server. We store these with the time received, language, handling status and an enquiry reference in the website database (Cloudflare D1) to assess the enquiry and support follow-up. The website does not send an automatic confirmation email. For enquiries about a contract with you or steps you ask us to take before entering a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other business enquiries are processed under our legitimate interest in responding, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Required fields are marked *; the form cannot be submitted without them. Specific retention rules and contractual details of the infrastructure providers still need to be finalised before public launch.
Retention
Retention of enquiries depends on the purpose of the message, any resulting business relationship, applicable legal retention duties and the need to establish or defend legal claims. Data should be deleted once these purposes and duties no longer apply. The language cookie is limited to the browser session.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may complain to a data protection supervisory authority, particularly in the country where you normally live or work or where you believe an infringement occurred. In Cyprus, this is the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection.
Local fonts and display preferences
Font files are served with the website. The light and dark theme control changes the current page’s appearance; the choice is not stored permanently. We have not integrated analytics or advertising trackers or externally embedded videos into the application code. Access to this private preview may involve additional features and cookies provided by the hosting platform.
